    Inspired by Shelby American’s most powerful car yet, the Limited Edition Shelby 1000 timepiece sports a 43.5mm stainless steel case which houses the Swiss automatic chronograph Valjoux 7753 movement. A tachymeter is engraved on the bezel and the iconic Shelby Cobra is hand applied to the multi-layer galvanic dial and, as with every car to roll out of the Shelby factory, the back displays Carroll Shelby’s signature. THE SHELBY 1000 MUSTANG

    Shelby's have always been easily identified by their muscular lines, flared wheel arches and aggressive stances. The Shelby 1000 is no different and the most aggressive of them all.

    To build the car that Carroll Shelby envisioned, Shelby American takes Ford's already-menacing 5.4 liter V8 down to the block to add new rods, crank and pistons. The team flows the heads, and then sprinkles it with a significant dose of Shelby magic.

    At extreme speeds, air becomes quite thick. The profile of the Shelby 1000 was designed to be quite slippery to reduce wind resitance and increase velocity.

    Born from aeronautic technology, the rear diffuser of the Shelby 1000 helps air move quickly under the car and then slows its velocity when it reaches the rear of the car, creating more downforce and eliminating low pressure voids that negatively affect handling from the rear of the car.
