    Thoroughbred holds special meaning for David Yurman since it was inspired by his two lifelong passions, sculpture and all things equestrian. David is an avid horseman and the collection’s equestrian roots are expressed as dramatic design elements, such as a bridle buckle that is transformed from a simply functional clasp to a prominent place in the design. This collection use only precious metals without the accent of stones and is classic and elemental. From an artistic perspective, Thoroughbred is essentially sculptural, with each design stripped of embellishment, exposing its pure lines and form.
