FROM A FAMILY OF ARTISTS
FROM A FAMILY
OF ARTISTS
Our Wedding Collection exemplifies the Yurmans’
unconventional approach to jewelry design, honoring the family’s
roots in art. David, a sculptor, created our first engagement ring
for his wife, Sybil, a painter, as a symbol of their joint lives and work.
Today, with their son, Evan, they collaborate on the designs, each
bringing an artist’s sensitivity to form, line and color.

A RADIANT MASTERPIECE
A RADIANT MASTERPIECE
When David, Sybil and Evan select a diamond, they
choose a stone not only for its exceptional quality,
but based on artistic elements such as shape and
light. They then work together to frame its
one-of-a-kind beauty with a setting that’s a true
work of wearable sculpture.

BORN IN NEW YORK
BORN IN NEW YORK

Once a design is conceived, it is then reworked and refined in
our New York City atelier until it’s beautiful from every angle.
No detail is too small to consider—whether it’s the curve of a
prong to make a pavé diamond appear as if it’s floating or a
hidden touch of Cable, our enduring symbol of strength, unity
and love.

The Yurmans work closely with 35 master craftsmen on every
step in the process, from the hand-carved wax model to the
final production piece. The world’s finest gem polishers and
setters bring the stones to life, and our artisans continually
refer to the Yurmans’ original drawings, so that the spirit of
the original sketch is never lost.
