David:

Do you remember Paris? We watched the fireworks over the Eiffel Tower from our balcony. We were already late for dinner, and I couldn’t convince you to leave.

Sybil:

I wanted to see one more. You finally looked at me and said, “Come on. I’ll make you your own fireworks.”

David:

I remember telling you that. When we got home, we couldn’t stop talking about that night. Before long, it became the Starburst collection.

Sybil:

That’s always been the way we work. A moment catches our attention, somehow it stays with us, and eventually it finds its way into a design.

David:

Light has always found its way into the work. Starlight, Starburst, the moon and stars. It is a language we keep returning to.

Sybil:

Maybe because light is what guides us.

David:

That is what I love about the North Star. People have always looked to it for direction. A way home.
