Rooted in David Yurman’s lifelong passion for riding horses, Curb Chain draws from equestrian bridle tack, the hardware that connects and controls the reins. That language of interlocking metal informed one of his earliest designs: a direct-welded chain link belt, establishing links as a signature of the brand. Evan Yurman evolves this sculptural legacy, refining the form into its most elevated expression.
Craftsmanship
Links are sculpted flat into fluid S-curves from precious metal or black titanium, each one a singular sculpture. Crafted for fluid movement, chains are assembled by hand, link by link, to lie naturally against the body. Diamonds and gemstones are set by hand alongside rare materials, such as forged carbon and meteorite, each chosen for its character and play of light. Subtle fluting reveals David Yurman’s signature Cable, a linear expression of the iconic double helix.
