David Yurman announces the reopening of the brand’s Beverly Hills boutique located at 371 North Rodeo Drive. Having first opened in 2006, the location has been newly reimagined by Italian architect, Andrea Tognon. The project marks the next chapter in Tognon’s collaboration with the jeweler, following his design of the David Yurman Miami Design District flagship in 2025. While a continuation of Tognon’s architectural codes from Miami, the space on Rodeo Drive also draws inspiration from California's vibrant landscape and the Yurmans’ artistic approach to form, material, color, and light. California played a pivotal role in David and Sybil Yurman’s journey as young artists. In the 1960s, they both traveled West from New York, drawn to the creative culture and freedom from convention. Decades later, that same spirit of exploration, possibility, and connection to nature inspired the new Beverly Hills boutique. Golden light, sculptural landscapes, sandy tones, natural stone, and the Pacific Ocean inspire the store’s palette and materiality. The result is an interpretation of California through the Yurmans’ eyes, translating the natural character of the landscape into an environment designed for discovery. Once inside the 2,717 sq. foot boutique, guests will find meticulously crafted fixtures featuring a sophisticated interplay of stone finishes and natural materials. A nod to the art of jewelry making, Tognon integrated structural details to hold and frame materials in the same way a setting holds a gemstone. Each counter is defined by a distinct element such as stone and onyx, further drawing inspiration from the richness of gemstones. A private client salon is revealed behind a cast glass wall etched with the iconic David Yurman Cable motif. David’s sculptural approach is seen in the interplay of volume and negative space. Like a sculpture, the boutique is designed to be experienced from multiple angles, revealing new forms, textures, and details with each change in perspective. Meanwhile, the boutique’s color and layered textiles are inspired by Sybil Yurman’s work. Her abstract drawings and paintings incorporate rubbings and impressions drawn from natural surfaces. These natural textures informed Italian-sourced fabrics throughout the space. “My wife, Sybil, and I found inspiration as young artists in California in the 1960s. The Beverly Hills boutique reflects what resonated from those formative years, from the colors cast by the sun to the texture of the terrain. We see this location as a giant jewel by the Pacific, a nod to our artistic roots in California and the continued inspiration we find as artists and jewelers.” — David Yurman, Chief Executive Officer/Chief Design Officer of David Yurman Inspired by the Pacific Ocean, the boutique’s glass façade evokes the movement of waves along the coast. Gold reflective material behind the glass interacts with the changing light, allowing the façade to shift throughout the day. The construction itself borrows from the art of setting a gemstone. Each element, including gold metal and red onyx, is designed to frame the glass and reveal its depth, texture, and reflection. “The Beverly Hills flagship represents an evolving architectural language rooted in sculpture, craftsmanship, and materiality. From the luminous cast glass façade to the warm limestone interior, every element draws inspiration from the natural beauty of Southern California while reflecting the artistry and precision of David Yurman’s jewelry.” — Andrea Tognon, Architect To celebrate the reopening, David Yurman introduces a selection of Beverly Hills exclusive designs for men and women. For women, the iconic Sculpted Cable Flex® collection expands with new bracelets and rings featuring hand-set gemstones, inspired by vibrant sunsets and the architecture of Beverly Hills. Men's exclusives include diamond-set Faceted Tennis necklaces and a black titanium Tennis necklace, alongside Memento Mori pavé skull pinky rings adorned with colorful gemstones.
